is a very small village, situated in the county of Norfolk, England, 6
miles south of Fakenham, 7 miles north of Dereham on the B1146.
The Heritage Society puts on a bi-annual exhibition about their reasearch and this year we intended to commemorate the 75th anniversary of VE Day, unfortunately becuse of the Coronovirus the exhibition has had to be postponed, however there is information on the events page.
In 2018 we featured the 1939 National Register for Horningtoft.
In 2016 the exhibition centred around the 1797 collapse of the church tower.
Information from this research is available on the Heritage desk in the church.
Horningtoft marked the centenary of the First World War by discovering the impact the war had on our village. The Heritage Society held an exhibition entitled Horningtoft Remembers on the 19th & 20th July 2014. Information about the residents of Horningtoft who served are availble on the Heritage Society desk in the church.
The Heritage Society is currently working on a new layout for this website which can be seen here
